How do we use your information?
eFarms use the information collected from a ‘user’ during registration, making payments, signing up for our newsletter, responding to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or using certain other site features in the following ways:
- To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and service offerings in which you are most interested.
- To improve our website in order to better serve you.
- To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.

- eFarms do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
- An external PCI compliant payment gateway handles all card transactions.
- We do not use Malware Scanning.
Your personal identification information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/card information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user registers, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All payment/card transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Do we use 'cookies'?

Your data is stored through eFarms data storage, databases and the general eFarms website. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then it is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your payment transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your transaction. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
eFarms do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identification Information unless we provide our ‘users’ with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your payment-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
However, non-personal identification information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

eFarms collects your email address in order to:
